PaperFig is free to try. Using figures in journals, theses that are formally published, grant documents, commercial products, or paid materials requires a paid plan or any credit pack purchase.

Figures created on a free account are licensed for non-commercial, non-publication use: personal study, coursework, internal lab meetings, and drafting. Downloads include a small "Made with PaperFig" watermark. Please do not remove or crop the watermark.
Once you have made any purchase — a credit pack, a subscription, or a lifetime plan — figures you download are watermark-free and may be used in journal articles, preprints, conference posters and talks, theses, grant applications, and commercial work. This license covers figures downloaded while your purchase was active and continues after a subscription ends.
You remain responsible for checking every AI-generated figure for scientific accuracy, for having the rights to any prompts, uploads, or reference images you submit, and for following each journal's own policy on AI-generated images. See the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy.
